Transparency regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within our services.

At Play A Note AI Video Studio, we believe in the power of AI as a creative tool, but also in responsibility and transparency. On this page, we explain how we deploy AI, how we handle your data, and what your responsibilities are in accordance with European legislation (EU AI Act).
1. Nature of the Service (Synthetic Media)
The video content we deliver is wholly or partially generated by advanced AI models. This means that:
- The visuals, voices (voice-overs), and music are synthetically generated.
- Although our avatars may be photorealistic ("4K"), they are not actual recordings of persons at the moment of speaking.
- We operate according to the "Human-in-the-Loop" principle: every video is checked, corrected, and finalized by a human editor to guarantee quality.
2. Data Privacy: Consistent Characters (LoRA)
Specifically for training custom AI models (LoRA) to create consistent characters, we distinguish between processing methods based on your selection:
For maximum speed, we use secured third-party GPUs for model training. Your training data (photos) is sent encrypted and is immediately permanently deleted from these external servers after the training process.
If you choose our local option, we guarantee that your biometric data (facial images) used for AI training never leaves our physical servers in the Netherlands ("Air-gapped processing").
3. Prohibited Content & Deepfakes
In accordance with the EU AI Act, we categorize certain applications as unacceptable risks. We refuse any order that:
- Is intended to deceive, defraud, or engage in political manipulation.
- Uses the likeness of existing persons (celebrities or third parties) without their explicit, written consent.
- Contains sexually explicit, hateful, or discriminatory content.
We reserve the right to refuse orders and block accounts upon violation of this policy.
4. Copyright & Ownership
Your Input: You guarantee that you possess full rights to the material (photos, logos, texts) you upload. You indemnify Play A Note against legal claims by third parties.
The Result: Upon full payment, we transfer the commercial usage rights of the generated video to you. Please note that AI-generated content may not be copyright protected in the same manner as human work in certain jurisdictions.
5. Transparency Obligation (EU AI Act)

If you publish the video, under the EU AI Act (Art. 52), you are obligated to clearly disclose that the content was artificially generated, especially regarding "Deepfake" technology (avatars)[cite: 91].
We advise you to do this by:
- A mention in the description (e.g., "AI presenter").
- Retaining any watermarks or metadata if provided.
