And the music you normally hear rolling out of the Play A Note speakers belongs to a completely different universe than the average folk festival repertoire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And yet, as of today, an official Oranje World Cup hit of my making is live on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How did that happen? The short answer: a spontaneous stress test of my own, custom-built AI Video Studio 4K that got completely out of hand. The long answer? That hits the exact core of why AI is nowhere without human craftsmanship \u2013 and an enthusiastic colleague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The spark on the work floor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next to my creative projects at Play A Note, I work a few days a week as a programmer within a great team at a tech company. When I recently told a colleague at the office that I had built an advanced AI Video machine in my own time, the spark caught on instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are right in the middle of the World Cup season, and his programmer's brain immediately switched into creative mode:&nbsp;<em>\"If you really want to test that software, let's do it right. Time for a World Cup song, I'll be the avatar!\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In no time, a serious tech conversation turned into a creative pressure cooker. I put my custom-built engine &amp; agent to work. The software generated the visuals in crisp 4K quality, the audio was tightened up, and his virtual avatar did exactly what it was supposed to do: deliver the ultimate Oranje vibe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"ALLES KLEURT ORANJE (Oranje komt eraan)\" width=\"604\" height=\"340\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ITJe8NuktrQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The pen and the writer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you look at the final result, you see a flashy, catchy clip. It's highly tempting to think:&nbsp;<em>\u201cLook what AI can make with the push of a button \u2013 and of course a bit of human editing work.\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;But the reality is exactly the other way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My code had absolutely no clue about the irony. The machine doesn't understand the tension of a penalty shootout (though my agent actually does for a part), doesn't get the humor of a programmer suddenly transforming into a party avatar, and doesn't feel the collective World Cup fever rushing through the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The technology I built was purely what it should always be: the pen. The razor-sharp, hyper-modern pen that was capable of translating my colleague's spontaneous idea into a fully-fledged release. The soul, the humor, and the absurdity came entirely from us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What the test taught me<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For my AI Video Studio, this was a next baptism of fire. In the past, a project like this \u2013 an animated music video with complex lip-syncing and dynamic crowds \u2013 would have cost weeks of production time, expensive render farms, and a hefty budget. Today, we did the testing, production, distribution, and marketing campaigns in between our regular tasks. And if you had to shoot this quickly with actors and a camera crew, you wouldn't even want to know the price...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So no, I'm not moving my core creativity to the festival tents. But this test did conjure up a virtual Oranje army out of thin air; just imagine what it can do for a serious video production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As long as you bring the soul yourself, you can make a lot of fantasies come true in a hybrid mode.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let's start with an honest confession: I have absolutely nothing to do with football.
